Yamba, NSW Australia

The town that might be hard to leave: Yamba, NSW, Australia

Australia’s coastlines are filled with some of the world’s best surf towns known for their laid-back lifestyle and year round surf breaks. One of those towns that is a little slice of heaven for the surf – or just beach - enthusiast is the small town of Yamba.

It’s no surprise to hear that surfers stop into Yamba for what is meant to be a few nights and stay for months at a time. Life is easy here. With a handful of great breaks, amazing cafes, and a chill, down to earth atmosphere, it’s every surfer’s dream.

There is something really special about the wholesome small town feel of Yamba combined with the amazing beach lifestyle. Check out any thirty something local gal’s Instagram feed and you will immediately feel it’s too picturesque to be real. Bonfires on the beach, a local farmers market, pristine beaches… the list goes on! And that is a good representation of life in Yamba, it’s almost too good to be true.

Check out a few of our favorite spots to visit below.

Paradiso for The Perfect Cocktails
Another spot you’d never expect to come across in a small town is a trendy tapas restaurant and cocktail bar. Paradiso Restaurant and Bar serves some seriously good cocktails (try their espresso martini).
